Chinese Tea Culture

Cultural Communication  ·  Visual Storytelling

Exploring Chinese tea culture through contemporary visual storytelling—connecting heritage, ritual and everyday life.

◧ IMAGE PLACEHOLDER — replace with: Tea Wall Art — hero image (wide)

THE CHALLENGE

Making Heritage Feel Relevant.

Traditional Chinese tea culture carries generations of knowledge, ritual and identity.

The creative challenge is to communicate that heritage in a way that feels approachable to contemporary audiences without losing the cultural character behind it.

◧ IMAGE PLACEHOLDER — replace with: Association image — Penang Chinese Tea Culture Association

As part of this exploration, Ethos Global developed visual communication for the Penang Chinese Tea Culture Association—presenting traditional Chinese tea culture through contemporary promotional and cultural materials.

THE APPROACH

Heritage, Reinterpreted.

The visual direction combines traditional Chinese aesthetics with cleaner contemporary layouts to create a bridge between heritage and modern audiences.

Rather than treating culture as decoration, the approach focuses on making the story easier to see, understand and appreciate.
